"The best way to find yourself, is to lose yourself in the service of others." ~Mohatma Gandhi

Miss Lawson State, LaCoriya Ford

Lawson has been a great experience and will be a great part of my memories in the future. I've met so many people and done so many charitable things. Lawon has helped me see what my purpose in life is and helped to jumpstart my career. Miss Lawson State represents so much more than a face. It represents being a leader, a role model and giving back.

First Attendant, Renee Burrough

I am not the type of person to be afraid of a challenge, I will not allow obstacles to get in my way and stop me from doing something I want to do. I believe if you do not at leaset try you will forever hold onto that and live with regrets of disappointments.  I push myself to go far as I can with my intrinsic motivation as well as my extrinsic motivation. I enjoy helping others, during their time of need, expecting nothing in return. This makes me feel good, that I can help someone learn and grow.

Second Attendant, Jamiaya Pickett

I am a young lady maturing intoa beautiful inspiring woman; I have goals, possess integrity and confidence.  I am also ambitious, courageous, well-articulated, have a positive attitude and intelligent.  I care about others and will go out of my way to lend a helping hand. My motto is "Failure is not an option". If I fall or fail at something I always pick myself back up because I know there is light at the end of the tunnel.
